On May 13, 2011, a Symposium honoring the academic accomplishments of Dr. John Brown, Professor and Former Chair of the Department of Community Dentistry, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, was held at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.
